They continue to push the Akaka Bill onto Hawaiians and Hawaiian Nationals despite failing to reach majority which is 50% + 1.

In the latest issue of Honolulu Weekly writer Joan Conrow features a picture of Laulani Teale. Teale is quoted as saying,

Laulani Teale on Doing Pono

“I believe that we all know that the strong-spirited warriors of the independence movement, like our kupuna before us, and many of whom have been fighting against the occupation and colonization of Hawaiʻi for decades, will not change their views, nor participate in a ‘roll’ under any circumstances. These are the front-line warriors whose voices and actions have brought us to where we are today. I think we all know that any form of nation built without these voices would simply not be pono.”

So far they still fail to listen to the will of Hawaiians. In fact they still do not have majority yet they continue to push for this legalized theft.

For those of us who know about land, we refuse to sign to join this manufactured tribe which has one purpose and one purpose only in that this fraudulent “roll” will be used to reorganize the lands thus titles and royal patents of Hawaiians, Hawaiian Nationals, and their legal heirs. These property rights are inextinguishable.

Since the poliTRICKans do not have majority 50% +1 these thieves want us to “enroll” in their program so that they can steal said real property and personal property. Stealing is wrong.

There is a larger picture here.

This does not solely affect Hawaiians and Hawaiian Nationals.

It affects non-Hawaiians and non-Hawaiian Nationals too.

Will the local, state, and federal government steal your property from YOU too?

We are sure you will understand.

Hawaiians, Hawaiian Nationals, and their legal heirs reserve their property rights now and forever.

This shall also serve as a PUBLIC NOTICE.

Leon Siu writes in the Hawai’i Reporter regarding the Akaka Bill. An excerpt:

“The State House of Representatives Committee on Hawaiian Affairs, chaired by Rep. Faye Hanohano, held a hearing today on HB 1627 — a clone of the Akaka bill, modified for implementation by the State, instead of the Federal government.

Having failed for 10+ years to pass the infamous “federal recognition act” (Akaka bill), its chronic supporters, Akaka, Inouye, the Governor, OHA and DHHL, etc., now want the Fake State of Hawaii to ‘have a go’ at creating the “reorganized Native Hawaiian governing entity”…sort of an ‘Akaka bill lite.’

HB1627 is incredibly ridiculous on several levels, not the least of which is that the legislature of the State of Hawaii has no constitutional authority (either US or State) to spin off such a semi-autonomous governing body from itself. This is a pesky detail that apparently none of its advocates or legislators bothered to ask the attorney general or any other legal counsel. When you’re desperate, you make these kind of mistakes. Even as opposition testimonies pointed out the bill’s numerous inaccuracies, inconsistencies and false statements, the lawmakers remained clueless.”

Once again they are trying to steal the lands of Hawaiians and their legal heirs by reorganizing the lands based on their rules in order to reorganize the titles and royal patents of Hawaiians and their legal heirs.

On November 15, 2010 Senator Daniel Akaka introduced another version of the Akaka Bill to keep his promise to Governor Linda Lingle instead of keeping his promise to the people to uphold the Constitution.

Soon-to-be-governor Neil Abercrombie already voted for the Akaka Bill in the House on February 23, 2010:

That is, Abercrombie voted to STRIP Hawaiians and their legal heirs of their property rights.

Abercrombie also did not listen to the will of the people both Hawaiians and non-Hawaiians who do NOT want the Akaka Bill.
An excerpt:

Aloha and Mahalo. I have never supported the Akaka Bill, it is not FOR THE PEOPLE OR BY THE PEOPLE, IT IS FOR THE GOVERNMENT, BY THE GOVERNMENT AND CONTROLLED BY THE GOVERNMENT!

For those who may remember my independent newspaper the `O Files (Oiwi Files) 2003 to 2006, I published those independent voices (I will be posting copies to Facebook) and it was a statewide publication… I could never find any clear support for the Akaka Bill.

How many public meetings were there? Why do they prevent our people from having a meaningful discourse in respect to setting this up?

Since 2005 I have advocated for the Sovereignty Education Buses to travel across the state, just as the Ku`e petition drive did, by foot, horseback, canoe, train to the doors of our people. I keep asking OHA to go to the doors of it’s people, to represent the descendants of Ku`e petition… they do not represent the Ku`e signers!”

The Honolulu StarAdvertiser Editors Continue to Try to Push For the Akaka Bill. In their latest issue they post an article titled, “Time tight for Akaka Bill.”

An excerpt:

“There are enough votes in the U.S. Senate to pass by year’s end a bill to treat native Hawaiians like the nation’s other indigenous groups.

That’s according to Sen. Daniel Akaka‘s office and the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.”

This epitomizes the Media Manipulation that ignores the will of the people when it comes to the Akaka Bill.

Hawaiians, Hawaiian Nationals, AND non-Hawaiians do NOT want the Akaka Bill.

Leon Siu wrote a piece about the Akaka Bill which recently appeared in the Hawai’i Reporter on August 3, 2010. Here is another excerpt:

“We, the people of Hawai`i, declare our opposition to the 2010 version of the Akaka bill, and strongly object to being excluded from this legislative process,” stated Leon Siu representing the Koani Foundation, part of a coalition of Native Hawaiian groups.

“We have long been told that open, public debates in matters that affect the citizenry are part of the US democratic process. But it has not been so with the Akaka bill.”

“We, the people of Hawai`i, insist the US Senate Indian Affairs Committee hold public hearings on S.1011 in Hawai`i as soon as possible. We demand to be heard.”

The only time public hearings were held in Hawai`i on the [Akaka] bill was ten years ago.

At that hearing, people turned out in record numbers to oppose the legislation.

Since then, the only hearings held on the Akaka bill were in Washington, DC in the dead of winter, 5,000 miles from Hawai`i, and no opposing testimony from Hawaiians or anyone else was allowed.

Leon Siu’s piece about the Akaka Bill recently appeared in the Hawai’i Reporter on August 3, 2010.

An excerpt:

We are contacting you to make you aware of broad opposition to S.1011, the Native Hawaiian Government Reorganization Act of 2009, otherwise known as the Akaka bill, throughout Hawai`i and to ask for your vote AGAINST this bill.

Regardless of what Hawai`i Senators Akaka and Inouye have told your office, the people of Hawai`i, including Native Hawaiians, do not support the Akaka bill and are demanding public hearings be held in Hawai`i before any vote occurs in Congress.

Over the years, poll after poll has shown the citizens of Hawai`i, both native and non-native to be overwhelmingly opposed to this bill.
